jaitun Cricket Betting — Best Odds for Every Format from T20 to Test
Whether it's a Bangladesh Tigers match, BPL, IPL, or the T20 World Cup — jaitun offers detailed markets for every format. Pre-match and live betting, all in one place.
Three Formats of Cricket and Your Favourite Competitions
Each format has its own character — and different betting opportunities to go with it.
T20 Cricket
A maximum of 20 overs, with results that can turn quickly. BPL and IPL are the most popular tournaments in this format. The situation can change on every ball, making this the most active format for live betting.
BPL IPL T20 WCODI Cricket
50-over matches — a complete contest that blends measured play with attacking cricket in the final overs. The ICC World Cup and bilateral series offer plenty of betting markets in this format.
ICC WC Bilateral SeriesTest Cricket
A five-day contest where patience and tactics decide the result. Test betting markets go deeper — you can bet on series winner, innings runs, and the outcome of a specific session.

T20 World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy, and The Ashes — jaitun opens more markets for these major tournaments. Every Bangladesh Tigers match also has betting available.

Cricket Betting vs Other Sports
The structural differences between cricket and football are reflected in their betting markets. Football ends in 90 minutes and a draw is a common result, so the "1X2" or three-outcome market is standard. In cricket — especially T20 and ODI — there is generally no draw, so markets are between just two teams.
Just as total goals are important in football, total runs over/under is a popular market in cricket. In tennis, each set is a separate betting unit — the differences are covered in detail on jaitun's tennis betting page.
In cricket betting, pitch conditions, weather, and the toss are three factors many bettors consider beforehand. In football, team form and home/away records tend to get more attention.
Football
90 minutes, three outcomes (win/draw/loss), result decided at the end of the match.
Cricket
Two outcomes (T20/ODI), dependent on pitch and weather, over-based markets.
Introduction to Popular Betting Markets
A brief overview of the most commonly used cricket markets on jaitun.
| Market Name | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Match Winner | Which team wins the match — Team A or Team B. The simplest and most common market in T20 and ODI. |
| Toss Winner | Which team wins the toss. This market closes before the teams take the field. |
| Top Batsman | Which batsman scores the most runs in the match. For example, picking the highest run-scorer for Team A. |
| Total Runs Over/Under | Whether the total runs in an innings or across the whole match will be above or below a set number — you can bet either way. For example, "over 160 runs" or "under 160 runs". |
| Multi Bet | Combine multiple selections together for the chance of a larger return. All selections must win — if one loses, the entire bet is lost. |
| Runs at First Wicket | How many runs will be scored before the first wicket falls — you can bet over/under or within a specific range. |
| Series Winner | Which team wins the entire series. This market is more commonly available for Test series and bilateral ODI series. |
When choosing a market, keep the match format in mind — total runs markets are generally more relevant in T20, and series winner markets in Test.
How to Read Odds
Decimal, fractional, and American — all three formats express the same value, just written differently.
Decimal
The easiest to understand — it tells you the total return directly. Stake multiplied by odds equals total return.
A ৳1,000 bet returns a total of ৳2,250 if you win (৳1,250 profit + ৳1,000 stake); if you lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Fractional
The British format — expresses the ratio of profit. "5/4" means ৳5 profit for every ৳4 staked.
A ৳1,000 bet gives ৳1,250 profit — total return ৳2,250.
American (Moneyline)
Plus (+) shows profit on a ৳100 bet; minus (−) shows how much you need to stake to win ৳100.
Team B at odds -200 — a ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,500 (৳500 profit).
All three formats express the same value. jaitun shows decimal odds by default, but you can change to your preferred format. See detailed markets on jaitun Bet.
Odds Change with Every Wicket and Over
Live or in-play betting means you can place bets after the match has started. This is especially significant in cricket — because odds are recalculated with every wicket, every boundary, and every completed powerplay.
Say Team A has lost 2 wickets in just 3 overs — their odds of winning increase (because the probability falls) and Team B's odds shorten. These shifts happen in real time, making live betting a fast-decision experience.
Some Practical Tips Before You Start Betting
Betting is a form of entertainment — keeping that in mind will help you have a straightforward and controlled experience.
-
Set a budget Only bet money that you can afford to lose without it affecting your daily life. Betting is not a source of income — it is entertainment.
-
Start with one market Begin with a simple market like match winner. Betting on many markets at once makes it harder to keep track.
-
Be careful with multi bets Multi bets offer higher returns, but every selection must win. If one of four selections loses, the entire bet is gone. You can look at a common multi bet structure — a ৳100 stake at 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 3.81 odds returns ৳381 if all win, and you lose ৳100 if any one loses.
-
No rushing in live betting Odds change fast, which can create pressure to decide quickly. Still, place your bets with a clear head.
-
